AAP: Atishi say's Arvind Kejriwal arrested by ED in liquor investigation, will continue as Delhi chief minister

Arvind Kejriwal arrested by Enforcement Directorate!

On Thursday, March 21, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. They are investigating possible wrongdoings related to the liquor policy in the capital. This happened shortly after the Delhi High Court decided not to stop the ED from taking action against Kejriwal.

Soon after the court's decision, officials from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) went to the Delhi Chief Minister's home, leading to speculation about his possible arrest. Kejriwal's legal team quickly appealed to the Supreme Court for protection, and the court is expected to consider the request tomorrow morning.

Atishi say's Arvind Kejriwal arrested by ED in liquor investigation, will continue as Delhi chief minister.

Reason what ED stated: The ED took action because Kejriwal did not show up for questioning despite receiving several summons. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader has called this summons illegal and has chosen not to obey them. He has missed a total of nine summons, including the latest one asking him to meet with ED officials on March 21.
