Controversy Ignites Over 'Racist' Depiction of Indian Crew Following Baltimore Bridge Tragedy

People are very angry about a cartoon showing Indian workers after the Baltimore bridge accident.

In New Delhi, after a cargo ship named Dali crashed into Baltimore's Francis Scott Key Bridge, a cartoon that some people say is racist has made a lot of people very upset.

A comic strip maker called Foxford Comics in the US put up a cartoon about it on X day after it happened. They wrote, "Last known recording from inside the Dali moments before impact."

The people from India who were working on the Dali ship had a problem and couldn't control the ship. It crashed into a part of the bridge that holds it up. This made a big piece of the bridge fall into very cold water, about 50 feet deep. Luckily, the crew quickly called for help, and this made the authorities close the bridge fast. This might have saved some people from getting hurt or worse.
