Virat Kohli hit another fifty in IPL 2024 and scored a fantastic 83 runs in 59 balls against Kolkata Knight Riders at Chinnaswamy Stadium. This was Kohli's second fifty in a row in the tournament. In the last match against Punjab Kings, he scored 77 runs. Kohli now leads in runs scored in IPL 2024, earning the Orange Cap with a total of 181 runs at an average of 90.

Also, Virat Kohli added more runs to his total in the list of players scoring the most runs even when their team loses in IPL matches. Kohli is at the top of this list with 3344 runs. David Warner is next with 2738 runs, followed by Shikhar Dhawan with 2696 runs. Rohit Sharma comes fourth with 2439 runs.
