 UPSC 2023 Results: Meet the Top 20 Achievers in the Civil Services Exam!

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) declared the results for the Civil Services mains exam 2023 today. Aditya Srivastava from Lucknow grabbed the top spot, securing All India Rank 1.

Animesh Pradhan and Donuru Ananya Reddy secured the second and third positions respectively, as per UPSC.

A total of 1016 candidates got recommendations for jobs after the UPSC released the roll numbers of the successful candidates. However, the status of 355 recommended candidates is provisional, pending further verification.

The Civil Services main exam was held in two shifts from September 15 to September 24. Each shift lasted three hours, starting at 9 am and continuing at 2 pm.

Aditya Srivastava left his well-paying job at a Bengaluru MNC in 2020 to prepare for the civil services exam. In 2022, he secured AIR 236 in his second attempt. Not making it to IAS, he tried again, and this time topped the exam.

Animesh Pradhan, 22, from Odisha, cleared the UPSC exam in his first attempt, securing an All-India Rank (AIR) of 2. Ananya Reddy, who secured rank 3, studied 12 to 14 hours a day and followed her own study schedule. She is a graduate of Miranda House in Delhi.
