Lately, there’s been a buzz about Natasa Stankovic and cricketer Hardik Pandya possibly splitting up. It all began when people saw that Natasa had dropped 'Pandya' from her Instagram handle. Her recent public appearances have only stirred the pot further. As their marriage continues to be a hot topic, fans are also looking back on the story of how they first met.
In her wedding video, Natasa shared that she met Hardik through a mutual friend. She explained, “I went out with some friends, and one of them was also friends with Hardik. Then he walks in, wearing a hat, a shawl, and lots of bling. In all my years in India, I had never seen someone like him. I was like, ‘What is this? Who is this?’”
“When we first met, I went for a handshake, and he came in for a hug. I didn’t even know his name, but he was so friendly. That’s how we met for the first time,” she added. Reportedly, Natasa and Hardik met in a nightclub, and it was love at first sight for Hardik.
The couple got married in May 2020 during the coronavirus lockdown. They have a 3-year-old son named Agastya Pandya. Although neither Natasa nor Hardik has commented on the divorce rumors, Natasa’s recent public appearance has fueled the speculation.
On Saturday, May 25, Natasa was seen grabbing a bite with Aleksander Alexllic, who is rumored to be Disha Patani’s boyfriend. The media spotted her and she posed for photos, but when asked about the divorce rumors, she just smiled and said, “Thank you,” before walking away. This was the first time Natasa responded to the rumors.
The talk about their separation started after a Reddit post titled “Natasa and Hardik separated?” went viral. The post pointed out that they haven’t been posting pictures together and questioned why Natasa wasn’t at the IPL 2024 matches.
The post also mentioned that Hardik didn’t post anything for Natasa’s birthday on March 4th and that Natasa had removed most of her recent posts with Hardik, except one with their son Agastya. Additionally, she hasn’t been seen at IPL games or posting about the team. While Krunal and Pankhuri still comment on her posts, it seems something is definitely off between them.
